Registration Requirements

Before your pet's first visit, we require:

  • Completion of our registration process including pet details and emergency contacts
  • Current vaccination records appropriate to the service booked

  • Disclosure of any behavioural issues, medical conditions, or special needs

Booking and Cancellation

Bookings are confirmed once we acknowledge receipt and availability. Cancellation terms vary by service:

  • Grooming appointments: 24 hours notice required to avoid a cancellation fee
  • Boarding: Cancellations within 7 days of arrival during peak periods may forfeit the deposit
  • Daycare: Same-day cancellations may be charged at 50% of the booked rate

Payment

Payment is due as follows:

  • Boarding: Deposit at booking, balance at drop-off
  • Grooming: Full payment upon collection
  • Daycare: Payment at end of each session or weekly in advance for package bookings

We accept major debit and credit cards. Cash payments are accepted for amounts under £50.

Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Providing care to the standard described in our service descriptions
  • Employing trained, vetted staff to handle your pet
  • Maintaining appropriate insurance coverage
  • Contacting you promptly if concerns arise about your pet's health or behaviour
  • Seeking emergency veterinary care when necessary

Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your pet's health, behaviour, and needs
  • Ensure vaccinations are current and provide documentation
  • Inform us of any changes to your pet's condition or requirements
  • Collect your pet at the agreed time or notify us of delays
  • Pay for services as agreed
  • Provide sufficient food, medication, and supplies as needed for your pet's stay

Liability

We exercise reasonable care with all animals in our charge. However:

  • We are not liable for illness or injury that occurs despite reasonable precautions
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or their progression
  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in question
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other matters where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Health and Safety

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to animals that pose a risk to staff or other animals
  • Separate animals showing signs of aggression or illness
  • Seek veterinary attention at your expense in emergencies
  • Modify care arrangements if necessary for safety reasons

Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and design—is owned by Verdant Spire Pet Care Ltd or used under licence. You may not use our branding or content without written permission.

Changes to Terms
